Producers Get Redundant

The Toronto International Film Fest description reads as follows:
Award-winning screenwriter Suha Arraf (The Syrian Bride, Lemon Tree) makes her feature directorial debut with this story of spirited eighteen-year-old orphan Badia, whose arrival at the Ramallah home of her three spinster aunts unleashes a torrent of family secrets and long-held grudges.
But the real story here is how the Israeli cultural funding apparatus went berserk when she dared label it as a 'Palestinian' film rather than one produced by 'Israeli Arabs', to the point now they want their $580,000 grant back.
