Recetntly, British Pathe's entire archive was digitized and uploaded to YouTube. The archive of 85,000 items is any film historian's dream, and especially is intriguing in this instance because there are several films of Mandate-era Palestine. The two films above are two I could find that shows Palestinian agriculture and city life in the region. The Jaffa oranges film is especially insightful as an anthropological document that shows Palestinian harvesting modes of production before the establishment of Israel.
The final clip here is a 1969 piece shot in a Jordan refugee camp.
